Thank you for shopping with Security & Electronics. We value our customers and aim to provide high-quality security and electronic products. Please read our return and refund policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Order Policy

Most products sold through our online store are special-order items and are not held in stock. Orders are placed with our suppliers or manufacturers once payment has been received.

For this reason:

  • Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been processed with the supplier.

  • Certain items may require longer lead times depending on supplier availability.

2. Returns

Returns are only accepted under the following conditions:

  • The product is defective on arrival (DOA).

  • The product received is incorrect compared to what was ordered.

  • The product has manufacturing defects covered under the manufacturer's warranty.

To qualify for a return:

  • The request must be made within 7 days of receiving the product.

  • The item must be unused, in original packaging, and include all accessories, manuals, and parts.

  • Proof of purchase (invoice or order number) must be provided.

Security & Electronics reserves the right to inspect returned items before approving a return or replacement.

3. Non-Returnable Items

Due to the nature of our products and supplier ordering process, the following items cannot be returned:

  • Special order products

  • Installed or used equipment

  • Software, licenses, or activated products

  • Products damaged due to incorrect installation, misuse, power surges, or physical damage

  • Products without original packaging

4. Manufacturer Warranty

All products sold by Security & Electronics are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, where applicable.

Warranty claims will be handled according to the manufacturer’s warranty terms and procedures.

Customers may be required to:

  • Return the product for testing and inspection

  • Allow time for the manufacturer or supplier to repair or replace the product

Warranty periods vary depending on the product and brand.

Security & Electronics acts as a facilitator between the customer and the manufacturer for warranty claims.

5. Refunds

Refunds will only be issued in the following circumstances:

  • The supplier confirms the item cannot be repaired or replaced

  • The product is out of stock and unavailable

  • The order cannot be fulfilled

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method.

Refund processing times may take 5–10 business days depending on the payment provider.

6. Testing & Handling Fees

Certain warranty claims may require testing by the supplier or manufacturer. If the product is found not to be faulty, a testing or handling fee may apply, and return shipping may be charged.

7. Installation Disclaimer

Security & Electronics is not responsible for damage caused by incorrect installation. We strongly recommend that security and electronic equipment be installed by qualified professionals.

8. Shipping for Returns

Customers are responsible for shipping costs associated with returning products, unless the product is confirmed defective or incorrect.

Security & Electronics is not responsible for damage or loss during return shipping.
