Most products sold by Security & Electronics are not kept in stock and are ordered from suppliers once payment has been received.

Order processing includes:

  • Payment confirmation

  • Ordering products from suppliers

  • Preparing items for dispatch

Processing times may vary depending on supplier availability.

Typical processing time:
2–7 business days before shipment.

Customers will be notified if delays occur.


2. Delivery Timeframes

Delivery times depend on:

  • Supplier lead times

  • Courier company schedules

  • Delivery location

Estimated delivery time after dispatch:

  • Major cities: 1–3 business days

  • Regional areas: 2–5 business days

  • Remote areas: 3–7 business days

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Security & Electronics is not responsible for courier delays once the parcel has been dispatched.


3. Shipping Areas

We currently deliver throughout South Africa.

For deliveries outside South Africa, customers must contact us before placing an order to confirm availability and shipping costs.


4. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated based on:

  • Delivery location

  • Parcel weight and size

  • Courier rates

Shipping costs will be displayed during checkout or communicated before the order is finalized.

Promotional offers may occasionally include free shipping on selected products.


5. Courier Services

Security & Electronics uses trusted courier partners to ensure reliable delivery.

Once an order has been dispatched, customers will receive:

  • A tracking number

  • Courier details to track the shipment


6. Delivery Address

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information when placing orders.

Security & Electronics will not be responsible for delivery delays or losses caused by:

  • Incorrect addresses

  • Incomplete delivery details

  • Customer unavailability

Additional courier charges may apply if parcels need to be re-delivered.


7. Damaged Parcels

If your package arrives damaged:

  1. Inspect the parcel immediately.

  2. Notify us within 24 hours of delivery.

  3. Provide photos of the damaged packaging and product.

This allows us to file a claim with the courier company.

Failure to report damage within this timeframe may affect claim eligibility.


8. Lost or Delayed Shipments

If a shipment appears delayed or lost:

  • Please contact us with your order number and tracking details.

  • We will investigate the matter with the courier.

Courier investigations may take several business days.


9. Order Collection

If local collection is available, customers will be notified once the order is ready.

Collection details will be provided via email or phone confirmation.


10. Order Refusal or Failed Delivery

If a parcel is returned due to:

  • Customer refusal

  • Incorrect address

  • Failure to collect

Additional shipping charges may apply to resend the order.

Refunds in these situations may be subject to deductions for courier costs and handling fees.
